Rolling Hills Ministries
Rolling Hills Ministries has three ways of implementing their motto, “Making a difference in the world, one person at a time.”
Resort Ministries: Camping areas around Ruston attract many people each summer, bringing opportunities to reach those campers for God. Rolling Hills organizes worship services and other activities at area lakes to provide opportunities for worship, praise and Bible study. Volunteers are needed to minister through music, the spoken word and other ways of sharing God’s love with those who camp.
Thrift Store: Rolling Hills operates a thrift store on Highway 33 just north of Ruston, selling inexpensive clothing and other items. Volunteers are needed to help in various areas of the store’s operation, such as pricing and sizing donated items. People can also help by donating items that they no longer need so that others might be able to use them.
Disaster Relief: Trained teams organized by Rolling Hills stand ready to respond when hurricanes, tornadoes and other disasters strike. They feed people, cut trees that have fallen in storms and provide other specialized assistance in times of crisis.
For more information about any of these ministries, visit the Rolling Hills Ministries website or call David Abernathy at 251-0065.
