Participants in Temple’s 2014 Nicaragua Medical Mission Trip assembled at the end of the evening worship service Aug. 17 for a commissioning service. Dale Oden, minister to senior adults, led the commissioning in the absence of Senior Pastor Dr. Reggie Bridges, who was at a retreat for Temple’s college students.

Oden spoke about the importance of Temple’s medical ministry in Nicaragua — in both its physical and spiritual dimensions. As he concluded his remarks, he invited those present to come forward to show their prayer support.

Thanks so much for posting this. I just could not make it last night. My son-in-law is very ill. Just found out more surgery tomorrow. Please pray for him. Butch Carroll.
