Approximately 40 people — mostly youth — will participate in a mission trip to Indianapolis, Ind., June 21-27, 2014. Minister of Youth and Recreation John Nugent wrote in the June 11 issue of The Tidings:

40 of us will travel on long van rides to have the opportunity to be a part of what God is doing through church planters in Indianapolis. We will provide Vacation Bible School for one church plant and also help with several work projects around the city as we share the gospel.

He added that the workers would prepare for the mission trip by helping with Temple’s Vacation Bible School, which is being held this week.

The group was commissioned June 18 during Temple’s Prayer service.
