Two-fold ministry set for Nicaragua

On Saturday, June 1, 2013, a mission team from Temple Baptist Church will head to Diriamba, Nicaragua, to work in two different contexts.

One team (mostly adults) will be constructing houses for families in need and sharing the love of Jesus Christ through words and actions. The second team (mostly college and high school students) will do ministry in schools. Some will help English students practice their conversational skills, while others will lead in sports camps. Both groups will share the Gospel with groups and individuals throughout the day.

Please pray for the following:

    • blessings for the Nicaraguan families who receive a new home — most importantly that they might see the love of Christ and cherish Him even more;
    • receptivity to the Gospel and Bible teaching among the children who participate in the sports camps and English classes led by our students;
    • physical safety and health for teams as they travel, work and minister; and
    • consistent walking in the Spirit for team members as they seek to communicate Christ’s love and message across cultural boundaries.

Material taken from prayer bookmark distributed at Temple Baptist Church.
