‘That one child mattered’ in south Louisiana mission outreach

Amanda Barham was disappointed at first by the small turnout for a Vacation Bible School in the southern part of Louisiana.  One quiet, reserved little girl, however, latched onto Amanda, who soon realized why God wanted her in that place at that time.  She said, “He showed me that that one child mattered. … I was there for her.”

Amanda and her daughter participated in the July 9-13, 2012, mission trip to south Louisiana as part of a group from Concord Union Baptist Association.
