Nicaragua team reports success

Dale Oden relays a question to Dr. Rick Byargeon.

Temple’s Aug. 24 prayer service included a live report (via Skype) from the medical mission team in Nicaragua. Pastor Dr. Rick Byargeon, Missions Coordinator John King and several other members of the group gave the folks back home updates on the group’s activities.

Monday through Wednesday of this week, 1,234 residents of Nicaragua had been treated for physical problems (including teeth that needed to be pulled or filled). Additionally, 262 had made professions of faith in Jesus as Savior. Dr. Byargeon noted that those who make professions have been encouraged to go to the nearest church this Sunday to talk with the pastor there and be baptized.
