Dental care drive for Nicaragua successful; funds for medicine still sought

Minister of Childhood Education Sally Hearn wrote in the Aug. 3, 2011, issue of The Tidings that 1,105 packets of toothbrushes and toothpaste have been collected for the upcoming mission trip to Nicaragua. Almost 500 more toothbrushes were donated, too. Thanks go to everyone who supported the Nicaraguan mission effort in this way!

Donations of money are still being accepted for purchasing medicine to be used on the Aug. 20-26 trip. Those donations are a great way to support the medical professionals and lay people who will minister to hundreds of Nicaraguan people that week. Please put “Nicaragua Medical Mission” on the memo line of your check (or on the envelope if you donate cash).
