Summer Missions: ‘Massive cleanup event’

Last night Daniel Barnes reported on Facebook about the latest activities of the college students working in Silverdale, Wash. They led 25 volunteers at Children of the Nations in a “massive cleanup event.” Daniel wrote:

We worked from 9-3 planting flowers, moving massive piles of debris, clearing a road, and pulling Scotts Broom. It was a great work day where we got to meet a lot of people.

Also, the man we are working with (Jim) has a wife who works with the Kitsap County Housing Agency and she might have found us some more opportunities to get involved in the community!

Please keep these students and others in your prayers as they minister this summer.
