Students lead in worship; recognized for efforts

The Temple Tech praise team leads in worship Sunday morning at East Hill Baptist Church.

Temple Tech students were active in services at two churches in the Pensacola, Fla., area yesterday. Two students preached and the praise team led in worship for two morning services at East Hill Baptist Church. Last night another student preached, and the praise team led in worship, this time at Highland Baptist Church in Molino, Fla.

Casey Casady, Temple's minister to college students, receives a plaque on behalf of the mission group.

Missions Coordinator John King wrote, “the construction team is making great progress on the church in Molino.” The people of Highland Baptist Church presented a plaque to the group from Temple to show their appreciation for the work. They also provided a potluck dinner for the group after last night’s service.

Temple’s folks were up at 6 a.m. today to resume the activities of the construction team and the community ministry team.
